Once upon a time… a froggy called Dorty that came to life after a nice hug. Since then, Dorty trusted in herself and in turning to others to fulfil each of her dreams. So much so that with his own hands she built a little boat out of walnut shells and set out to sail the seas. Even today, she still navigates the confines of his various worlds…
As a child I dreamed of… being a writer and President of the Government (Wow!!!)
I am really good at… lighting up my life and the lives of others. Create with that purpose and feel from that place. Create with that purpose and feel from that place. Create with that purpose and feel from that place. Create with that purpose and feel from that place.
My favourite ice cream is... froggie sorbet.
I am amused by the word… esternón. However, what I like most are word games and rhymes. And I love that in Spanish the words croaking, raise, create and grow all start out the same way, with a C… (so does Cris!!)
If I invented a toy, it would be… a tele transporter with glitter colours. And if you count a toy made with my hands, I’ve already invented it: a weekly calendar for my daughter, who is identifying the days little by little. I think I will invent more according to the needs that arise as a mother.
From the trunk of my memories I would rescue... the hours of play with my siblings and my parents. However, the ones that come to mind the most are the ones I spent with my cousin Inés and my neighbour María building cities and relationships with our dolls.
My imaginary planet… has lots of water, trees with heart tops and beaches of all colours. There’d be no cars left but to travel. The vehicle would be the bike and people would treat each other with respect. My imaginary planet is ruled by love and there is no money. Everything would work through barter. Life would be understood as a mixture of relationships and experiences that would make us all grow. Children would undoubtedly be valued, listened to and taken into account in any community decision.
In 20 years’ time I imagine myself... happy, with a view of the sea and being able to devote at least a couple of hours a day to myself and my family. I see myself co-directing Froggies and enjoying everything I do very much. Because like my mother says, sharing tastes better.
For me, childhood is… the most magical stage of life in which the resources we will obtain in adult life are formed. I believe it is essential that we remain children “forever and ever”.
